Matt is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator with 20 years of experience in public accounting. He has experience spanning a Big Four firm, regional firms, and a small local firm. He has diverse valuation experience from valuing large multi-national corporations to sole practitioners just getting started.
With over a decade of valuation experience, Matt has worked on valuations for corporate reorganizations, succession planning, mergers & acquisitions, preparation for/and sale of businesses, matrimonial breakdowns, shareholder disputes, estate planning and terminal returns, damage quantifications and provided market insights.
A Chartered Professional Accountant (2010), A Chartered Business Valuator (2014) and Certified in Financial Forensics (2015). Matt graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Economics and Psychology and from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting. He is a member of CPA Ontario, the CICBV and the AICPA.
Matt has greatly enjoyed his time giving back to the community. He has sat on various boards of directors, including national and international registered charities and a community farmer's market.
When not busy with work, Matt enjoys being in the great outdoors in beautiful Simcoe County with his young family. He looks forward to further local and worldly adventures.
